Labrador Retriever

Labradors are known for their good-natured and friendly character. They are willing to work and eager to learn. Especially in the working lines of the breed. They are specially bred for hunting. There is one standard Labrador Retriever, but there is an important distinction between ‘real’ working lines, the ‘dual purpose’ lines and the show lines, recognizable by their appearance. Labradors from working lines are slimmer, slimmer and smaller than dogs from show lines, which are heavier in construction. Labradors from the dual purpose lines are a combination of work and show lines.
