Dual purpose dogs
Dual purppose dogs are trained in two areas: searching and biting. A single purpose dog can only watch or track and a dual purpose dog can do both. For example, a dual purpose dog can search for explosives and drugs, track missing persons, find evidence after a crime, be used in the maintenance of public order and at public events.
